The Mark 1L is a light-weight, shoulder fired 6-shot launcher with extended 140mm chambers as against the standard 105mm chambers of the Mark 1S. The extra 35mm chamber area in this 3rd generation launcher allows this gun to launch an extended variety of ammunition for different applications. The max effective range of the MGL Mark 1L is 400 metres and its ammo can be fired in fast succession of 6 rounds in less than 3 seconds. The Mark 1L is a semi-automatic weapon built with simplicity to offer uncompromising reliability and efficiency.

The 40mm Mark-1L Multiple Grenade Launcher
The MGL Mark one L is ideally designed to be used by armed forces where its extraordinary versatility can be employed in a live combat or peacekeeping environment. The MGL Mark 1L is capable of firing a good range of lethal and anti-riot munitions providing the bearer the power to employ the use of rounds perfectly suited for the categorical need, such as tear-gas and rubber rod rounds for crowd control, HE, HEDP, HEAP and flash-bang rounds for combat eventualities etc.

The MGL Mark 1L allows the user to engage a wider range of objectives than possible with a standard 40mm MGL. The Mark one has developed mythical standing like the Ak-47 over the years for craggy, trustworthiness in all situations. In use by militaries from 39 nations around the globe. Nearly all explosive 40mm ammo possesses fuzes which activate only when the grenade has safely passed the operator, ( a distance of 15-31m, though some versions were produced with only 7m delay for house-to-house combat ) forestalling unwelcome 'accidents'. This setting can be removed however,, ( still, take care not to mess up).
