There are many events that people can point to that can be said to have changed the world and altered the course of history. The introduction of the first automobile completely changed how we traveled and suddenly places that took hours, or even days, to get to could be driven to in significantly less time. The advent of the internet completely changed the way people communicated and suddenly people in other parts of the world could exchange ideas, and do business, in ways they never could before. These types of events made the world seem smaller and in some ways made the world better and in other ways made the world worse. Automobiles did make destinations more accessible and greatly sped up the delivery of critical items such as food and clothing to all parts of the world but people are also killed by automobile drivers every day. The exhaust created by so many cars in the world is often blamed for causing a dangerous shift in our atmosphere that is said to be destroying our planet. The internet has become a haven for criminals attempting to steal the identities of unsuspecting victims and those preying on the naïve tendencies of our children. For every good thing to a history altering event there is always a drawback and that can be said about the media as well. The press has been blamed for glorifying terrible events in order to sell more newspapers or gather more television viewers. During the Viet Nam war people would turn in to the news to see footage of troops being killed or battles raging in villages where troops and civilians were all in the line of fire. People became fascinated with this kind of news coverage and the press enjoyed a resurgence during the Viet Nam war. But the problem for the press was that they only had a half hour slot in the evening to gather in their viewers and get their point across. The advent of the 24 hour news network changed that. Today there are several networks dedicated only to news and so people that are looking to become well informed can tune in to their favorite 24 hour news channel to see the stories of the day and get their updated information. The press on television 24 hours a day is a great thing for people that want information in detail at all hours of the day and it also helps the media solve the problem of how to reach that audience that does not have the time to tune in to the national news at 6:30pm Monday through Friday. But the press also has a huge responsibility when it comes to reporting the details of major news stories all day long and it seems that the media is still using their 24 hour podium to glorify tragedy. Ever since the 24 hour news network was created war has become a regularly televised event. People may start becoming desensitized to the horrors of war if they are constantly watching it on the television 24 hours a day. Horrifying events like the shootings at Columbine High School in Colorado become ways for less stable people to get their 15 minutes of fame because they know the 24 hour news networks will uncover every detail about them after they have committed their horrible act. The concept of 24 hour news networks seems an ideal way to keep the public informed but without the press taking any responsibility for what they report and how they report it the 24 hour news networks could also be a source for tragedy as well. There are many wedding invitation styles to choose from when planning a wedding. These styles are important because they help you to plan the formality of your wedding celebration. It also helps you to promote things like the theme and the overall idea behind your special day. Therefore, you might decide that you want to look beyond the traditional rectangle or square wedding invitation designs, and look towards something that is more interesting.

A heart shaped wedding invitation is perhaps the best way that you have to promote the love that you are going to be celebrating at your wedding. With the correct usage, you can help yourself by promoting your love, and including the use of the heart.

When you are using heart shaped wedding invitations, there are a few things that you may want to consider. The first would be if you would rather use one heart that is placed on a sheet, or if you would like to have two hearts that unfold to reveal the information inside. You can also use a heart folded in half, so that when it opens, the information is right there for the reader to see. These are the basic choices when it comes to what you would like to do with the heart-shaped wedding invitation.

However, you can also use the heart shape in different ways. You might want to have two hearts that are intertwined as the design for your wedding invite, so the invitation would be those two hearts stuck together. If this is the case, you can again decide whether you would like to have the information on the front without a fold, or if you want the invitation to unfold with the information there where you need it.

There are also some other choices if you would like to use the heart as a design on your wedding invitation, but you do not want to have a heart shaped invitation. Many people choose instead to use a traditional shape, like a rectangle or a square, and then have a heart design on the wedding invitation. This is a way that you can promote the heart idea and the theme without dealing with the logistics of a heart shaped wedding invitation.

If you are using a heart shaped wedding invitation, you are going to have to think about some practical issues as well as aesthetic ones. First of all, you may need to arrange your printing so that you can see it all, keeping in mind that the bottom of the invitation should be pointed and therefore you may need to arrange how you word things so that they can all fit on the invitation itself. Secondly, you may want to be sure that you have the right type of envelope into which the heart shaped invitation fits. It might cost you a little bit more, but if you choose to do this, it is well worth it. A heart shape can usually fit into a square envelope. Therefore, you should be able to find envelopes that fit, no matter what size your invitation is.

Once you know you are using a heart, you should decide the colors that you are planning to use. Of course, the most traditional colors when using hearts for decorations are reds and pinks. This is especially a good idea if your wedding is on or near Valentine's Day, or if you are using reds and pinks as your wedding colors. However, keep in mind that just because you are using hearts does not mean that you have to use reds and pinks. Just because hearts are traditionally seen in those colors does not mean that they need to be used. If you have different colors for your wedding theme, go ahead and use those. Also, sometimes hearts work best when they are transparent or clear. This is a good idea if you are using a heart design and not a heart-shaped wedding invitation.

No matter what you decide to do, you are providing yourself with a great wedding invitation that really provides you with a wonderful way to promote the love that you have for each other and to promote how your life together is going to be. For many people, a heart shaped wedding invitation is the best way that you have to promote your theme. Depending on the theme of your wedding, there are several heart invitations that you can choose. If you are looking for a more traditional card, you can send out a card that has several hearts on the front of the wedding invitation. However, if your wedding has a more casual theme, you can choose a wedding invitation that is cut out into the shape of a heart.

The world is mad at telemarketers and other illegal cell phone stalkers. People are tired of being harassed by sales calls and texts, and they are starting to come up with ways to fight the intrusions. There is a law against telemarketers calling or texting people's cell phones, but that hasn't stopped them from doing so, violating privacy and imposing unwanted fees on recipients.

Most of us heard of the National "Do Not Call List" that supposedly bans unwanted calls once a number is added to the list. Apparently, doing that just makes matters worse; one might as well send the intruders an invitation to call, since most people report the unwelcome calls tripling once they listed their number in the directory. Now, there is also a new phenomenon called "textual" harassment that prompted most states to add anti-stalking laws that refer to various electronic forms of communication.

So what, one may think, haven't they been breaking laws all along and no one seems to be able to do anything about it? Well, laws are good to fall back on when one is fed up. Verizon is currently suing a telemarketer who used autodialers to make hundreds of thousands of promotional calls to its customers, violating the Federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (FTCPA). Verizon will win establishing a precedent, and we'll all breathe easier.

Angry people everywhere are joining forces and fighting violators any which way they can. There are new Web sites powered by frustrated consumers who inform the public about telemarketers and phone scams. Users collect and share information about the callers, including unknown phone numbers, caller identity and address and other information that helps to identify the number's source and stop the infuriating calls.

Once you unveil the numbers from which you are getting unwanted calls and texts, the tool of choice is reverse phone lookup. It works really well to determine the hidden name, location and other identifying information about undesirable callers and/or texters. Reverse phone lookup will arm you with facts and lead you straight to the source, which is the last thing the violators expect or want. Demand to speak to the highest level of supervisors, remember to cite the FTCPA and the Verizon lawsuit, and get your number off their list for good. Chin up, we shall overcome!
